Future Tech Receives Long Island Software Award for Viewport™ MMS
 

Software Designed to Improve Inventory Visibility and Control Wins 2009 LISA

HOLBROOK, NY - April 20, 2009 - Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. will be recognized by the Long Island Software and Technology Network at the Long Island Software Awards on May 5th, 2009 for the company's Viewport MMS (Merchandise Management System) software. As a LISA winner, Future Tech will be exhibiting Viewport MMS at the ceremony to demonstrate the benefits of the software program. This award marks Future Tech's fourth LISA in five years and propels the company into the application development spotlight.

Viewport MMS is a software system initially created for Future Tech's client Southern Wine & Spirits of America to help the company improve promotional inventory access, control, and visibility. The software provides a web-based E-commerce experience for the sales force with the ability to view available inventory and place requisitions on behalf of customers. This system gives management the ability to accurately oversee this requisition process and get detailed reports on demand. In addition, Viewport MMS ensures that the company stays in compliance with state and local regulations by tracking the amount of inventory given to a single customer and prevents the approval of a requisition that would exceed the allowable amount.
