Future Tech Hosts HP CEO Mark Hurd at Round Table Event

Leading CIOs Gather to Hear Industry Strategy from Hurd and channel VP Adrian Jones

HOLBROOK, NY - May 1, 2009 - Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. hosted a CIO Round Table Event on April 1, 2009 at the Affinia Dumont Hotel in Manhattan with  Mark Hurd, chief executive officer of HP, and Adrian Jones, vice president  and general manager of the Americas Solution Partners Organization at HP.

The Round Table was an opportunity for Future Tech and HP to collaborate on ways to drive business and create opportunities for business growth. Multiple C-level executives of enterprise-sized organizations attended; they included Astoria Federal Savings, Estee Lauder, Northrop Grumman and Time Warner, among others.  All attendees provided positive feedback about the event and said they enjoyed a unique opportunity to interface with a driving force in the IT industry.

"Future Tech is honored to be able to host the CEO of a multi-billion dollar global IT leader such as HP," said Future Tech President and CEO Bob Venero. "The opportunity of face time with a successful CEO such as Mark Hurd for C-level executives is a valuable asset for any company. We are very happy to be able to bring this experience to our clients, especially in this challenging economy when we’re all looking for support and additional ways to drive business."

In addition to the economy and other forces affecting the IT industry, topics for discussion included consumer spending, HP’s long-term support tactics, data centers, power and energy consumption, cloud computing, and innovation – all pertinent issues for today’s C-level decision makers.

"Through our Executive Connections program, HP executives are actively engaging with our channel partners to discuss how we can drive mutual profitable growth with the broad portfolio of HP products and services," said Jones. "The result is better solutions for customers and better alignment with partners like Future Tech that enable us to really deliver on our promise of better business outcomes."
