BAYPORT—Through the generosity of the Bob Venero Children’s Foundation,
the Bayport Civic Association conducted its 12th annual Thanksgiving Turkey
Giveaway. Over the past 12 years, the BCA has handed out over six tons of free
turkeys to those in need within the local community. This year, distributions were
made at the Bayport United Methodist Church, the Sylvan Elementary School,
Blue Point Salvation Army and Our Lady of the Snow food pantry.
